Schirmer Tear Assessment
The Schirmer Tear Assessment measures how much tear fluid your eyes naturally produce. A small test strip is gently placed beneath the lower eyelid for a few minutes to assess tear production. This simple, painless test helps diagnose aqueous-deficient dry eye and guides us in selecting the most appropriate treatment for your condition.

Dry Eye Treatments
Treatment is tailored to the underlying cause and severity of your condition. Your personalised treatment plan may include lubricating eye drops to restore moisture, prescription medicated eye drops to reduce inflammation, and heated compresses to help restore natural oils. We may also recommend meibomian gland expression ($50) to clear blocked oil glands and improve tear quality, along with a daily lid hygiene routine to remove debris, reduce bacteria, and maintain healthy eyelids.
