All eye examinations at Eye Definition Optometrists are directly billed to the DVA electronically, ensuring a seamless experience for you.
We offer a wide selection of frames to choose from. If you have specific requirements beyond the standard DVA offerings, you can opt for a co-payment to access a broader range of frames and/or lenses.
The DVA covers a wide range of optometry services, including comprehensive eye examinations, glaucoma and cataract management, diabetic eye care, and prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses. If you are eligible for optical services, you can get 2 appointments with an optometrist or ophthalmologist: every 3 years if you are under 65; or every year if you are 65 or over.
Eligibility for DVA services is determined by the Department of Veterans' Affairs. Generally, veterans with a DVA Gold or White Card are eligible for a range of healthcare services, including optometry and optical services.
We offer a variety of high-quality eye wear options for DVA patients, including prescription NO GAP spectacles. Luxury frames and upgrades from standard anti-scratch lenses will incur a co-payment. Our optical team will help you choose the best frames and lenses to suit your needs and lifestyle.
When you come to your appointment, please bring your DVA card, any current glasses or contact lenses, and a list of any medications you are taking. If you have any previous eye health records, it is helpful to bring those as well.
Yes, we offer direct billing to the DVA for covered optometry and optical services. This means you won’t have to pay out of pocket and seek reimbursement later. Our staff will handle the billing process to ensure it’s as hassle-free as possible for you.
